Our three-day adventure from Fes to Marrakech begins with an immersion in the varied and spectacular landscapes of Morocco.
Leaving Fes, we drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Where we make our first stop in Ifrane, known for its European architecture and impeccably clean streets. Then, we continue our route to Azrou, a Berber village nestled in the heart of cedar forests, where we will have the opportunity to observe Barbary apes in their natural habitat. The road then takes us through the Midelt plains, where we stop for lunch and enjoy the striking contrast between arid mountains and green valleys. Descending south, we enter the Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and historic kasbahs. At the end of the day, we arrive in Merzouga, at the gates of the Sahara desert, where a thrilling adventure awaits us. We ride camels to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, you admire the sunset and spend a great night at the desert camp with a good traditional dinner.
The second day we start with a camel ride, crossing the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.
As the sun rises, the desert is adorned with warm, changing colors, offering breathtaking views. We spend the morning exploring the desert, before returning to our Berber camp for a traditional breakfast. After regaining our strength, we head towards the Dades gorges. The journey takes us through desert landscapes and fortified villages, until reaching the impressive gorges. Here, the red cliffs sculpted by erosion offer a striking natural spectacle. We spend the night in a comfortable hostel in the heart of the gorges, enjoying a typical Moroccan dinner and the warm hospitality of the locals.
Day three begins with a morning exploration of the Dades Gorges, where spectacular rock formations and perched kasbahs offer exceptional photographic opportunities.
We then resume our route towards Marrakech crossing the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. This winding journey reveals breathtaking panoramas, with green valleys and Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides. En route, we make several stops to admire the scenery, visit the historic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah and enjoy a traditional lunch in a picturesque setting. At the end of the day, we reach Marrakech, the red city, where our three-day journey ends.
